What is Atomicity

The atomicity of an element is the number of atoms present in one molecule of the element. Here some examples Gold, Helium, and Neon are Monatomic molecules. While Hydrogen, Oxygen and Hydrogen chloride are Diatomic molecules. And a Tri-atomic molecule is ozone. A tetra-atomic molecule is Phosphorus. Here you see the octa-atomic molecule is sulphur.
